Apart from the Department of Mathematics (North and South Campuses), the following colleges offer M.Sc. Mathematics:

Eligibility Criteria for two-year M.Sc. Mathematics (for Academic Session 2026-27)

Since 2023-24, admission to two-year M.Sc. Mathematics is based on the scores obtained in Common University Entrance Test (PG) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

Minimum Eligibility for Admission

• For candidates belonging to UR/OBC-NCL/EWS category, the minimum eligibility is 50% marks aggregate or equivalent grade in the qualifying examination as per the Programme-Specific Eligibility.
• For candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwBD category, the minimum eligibility is 45% marks in aggregate or equivalent grade in the qualifying examination as per the Programme-Specific Eligibility.

Programme Specific Eligibility

Category C1: Three-Year/Four-Year Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University, with at least 24 credits (or equivalent) earned from at least six (06) papers in Mathematics
Category C2: Three-Year/Four-Year Bachelor’s (Hons.) Degree in Mathematics from University of Delhi OR Four-Year Bachelor’s Degree with Major/ Minor in Mathematics from University of Delhi

Eligibility Criteria for one-year M.Sc. Mathematics (for Academic Session 2026-27)

Minimum Eligibility for Admission

For candidates belonging to UR/OBC-NCL/EWS category, the minimum eligibility is 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent grade in the Four-year Undergraduate Programme under UGCF 2022 (based on NEP-2020) from University of Delhi. For candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwBD category, the minimum eligibility is 45% marks in aggregate or equivalent grade in the Four-year Undergraduate Programme under UGCF 2022 (based on NEP-2020) from University of Delhi.

Programme Specific Eligibility

P1: Four-year Bachelor’s Honours Degree with Research/ Entrepreneurship etc. in Mathematics from the University of Delhi with at least 60% for candidates belonging to UR/OBC-NCL/EWS category and 55% for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwBD category.
P2: Four-year Bachelor’s Degree with a Major in Mathematics from the University of Delhi with at least 60% for candidates belonging to UR/ OBC-NCL /EWS category and 55% for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwBD category.
P3: Four-year Bachelor’s Honours Degree with Research/ Entrepreneurship etc. in Mathematics from the University of Delhi with at least 55% for candidates belonging to UR/OBC-NCL/EWS category and 50% for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwBD category.
P4: Four-year Bachelor’s Degree with a Major in Mathematics from the University of Delhi with at least 55% for candidates belonging to UR/ OBC-NCL /EWS category and 50% for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwBD category.
