Indian Women and Mathematics 2015
About IWM

This is a scientific meeting and will be held at Department of Mathematics (South Campus), University of Delhi, Delhi during April 2-4, 2015.

The primary aim of this meeting is to encourage women to do research and also participate in the teaching and learning of mathematics at higher levels. The meeting will provide a platform for women mathematicians who are post-graduate students, Ph. D. scholars, research fellows, faculty from colleges, University departments and Research Institutes to interact formally and informally, learn recent advances in mathematics through compact courses, plenary and invited talks by established women mathematicians. This event will be pivotal in providing role models for young women students and will enthuse them to take up Mathematics as a career. It will also be an event where junior and senior women mathematicians from diverse backgrounds can celebrate mathematics together.

There will be two mini-courses given by accomplished women mathematicians, three plenary research talks and three invited talks on current mathematics. The participants are encouraged to share their work by giving contributed talks.
